GROUP THERAPY

finding pride in all places

How do we build community, connection, and joy, even in times that feel difficult or uncertain? That’s the question at the center of our new seven-week group. It’s a space for LGBTQ+ adults to strengthen connection, build resilience, and make room for joy even when life and the world feels complicated.

This is a small, closed group meeting once a week for seven weeks. Think of it as part support, part conversation, part learning: a place to connect with people who get it, talk about what’s actually on your mind, and explore what it means to move through the world with more connection and pride.

Meet Your GROUP Therapist, benn! (HE/THEY)

Benn May, LGSW (he/they), supports young adults who identify as LGBTQ+ and want a space to be fully themselves, without having to explain or perform. As a queer therapist, Benn brings both lived understanding and a relationship-focused approach to his work. His therapy is grounded in attachment, connection, and helping people better understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how they relate to themselves and others.

As facilitator of this group, Benn creates a warm, reflective space where participants can explore identity, belonging, relationships, community, and the challenges of moving through the world as an LGBTQ+ person. His goal is to help group members feel seen and understood, strengthen their relationships and self-awareness, and build meaningful connection with others.
